Well aside Hynobius, my other main interest are the mole salamanders. I find both genus to be so similar in captive care (but indeed quite different in reporduction). Since I read the article in the old Reptile & amphibian magazine I have been interested in obtaining maybe not so beautifull but quite intruiging species... unfortunately never been able to get my hands on it. I wonder if there are any people that actually keep or breed with this species ?? I still have the general idea that this genus is kept my many but bred by so (too) few... |
