Default Ambystoma Andersoni in the wild

This is a recent account from the wild. I was emailing this man about them and this is what he told me. Laguna Zacapu of Mexico is the only lake andersoni occupies.

"I use to go to the Laguna every weekend with my family, I like very much to navigate with my kayaks and Canoes, and I have seen these salamanders many times."

So they're still doing OK in the wild it seems...

Hi
Did your contact have a rough idea of numbers at all? Or just stated he saw the odd specimen.
Thanks
