Hello. I thought i should share some pictures at my new A.mavortium tank, for the moment i only house my male there (since 40min ago) but soon there will be 2.1 tigers in the vivarium. Dimension:120x50x50cm. I have 4st cork caves bury down under the peat/cocos/leaf/moss blend so that each have a own hide if they feel for it. Two fans attach through the plastic lid to get good airflow, and wierd enough the blue lid shown to fit perfectly on the top! ![]() ![]() ![]() I want some plants or grass to make it look more natural, i think i will take a look tomorrow and se what i can find. Regards. |

great work congrats, i see the ikea box in the first picture, i use this kind of box to for housing many animals (newts-frogs-geckos-live food ect) and i love it, they are cheap easy to clean and easy to move, not the best choice if you want a nice looking vivarium but in my opinion they work great

So i put in som grass, next step is leaf and after that im done. No waterdish on the photo but just to make it look better. ![]() ![]() Yes they are great! i have only one (hammarplastic box/not the same pruduct) rebuilt for my helmetgeckos(31L) which works just fine, but i did get insperation from a big monitor forum whre a man house all his juveniles in such boxes as yours/mine. Round ventilation on both sides, also two on the top and one spotlight lamp attach in the plastic lid..looks nice and practical.. So i shall try that method for other reptiles later..Can you please email me some photos on your tanks? would be cool to see.

It's very natural and quite beutiful tank, but i would add there some ferns and fallen leaves, grass gives more desert look. tiger tank: http://www.worldwar2aces.com/tiger-t...er-tank-10.jpg

Wow! Cool video. Funny to see them attack the food with gusto. I know that a major Swedish wholesaler had tigers on their list earlier this year, but I think I missed the opportunity to get one for myself. How did you aquire yours Grius? I live in Västerbotten, far up in the cold north. |

I" know that a major Swedish wholesaler had tigers on their list earlier this year, but I think I missed the opportunity to get one for myself." This i had no idea about, but i heard from a friend there is guite a market of cb A.tigriunum in germany for the moment? and my 0.0.2 comes from a pet store and is bought as tigrinum, but several (me included) belive more in A.mavortium. Thug this is relly fine exemplares, so i had no probleme bying them from a shop.. My male is a gift from a great salamander friend, and the pair that soon arrive is also a gift from the same person. So i belive i have had some luck to get my hands on this not so comon salamander... wich i thank him for. Perfect climate for salamanders/newts!
