A couple of days ago i noticed my tiger salamander larvae has a small growth on its side & has refused to eat anything for a week & a half , same one i have had the superworm problem , i switch the diet to bloodworms & waxworms & ate them readily for a few weeks then all of a sudden stopped eating i even retried a superworm spat it out , still swims actively & isnt floating or anything but it is getting a bit on the skinny side , thats how i noticed the growth , i am going to take a pic in a bit to show ... Is there anything i can do i dont want my little buddy to starve

Larva is one, larvae is more than one, just clearing that up. It sounds to me like a possible impaction of the gut (blockage of the gut). Are you keeping it on gravel? Maybe it has swallowed some and it has gotten stuck in the gut. If it's not on a substrate, the problem may be tougher to pin down. A picture would definitely help!

No gravel , this one had a problem that it would only eat meal super worms & nothing else it didnt even eat bloodworms or wax worms till recently , the growth feels soft doesnt feel hard , but i know it hadnt eaten because of no bowel movements, i cant upload a pic on this phone so ill do it later on today

The growth could be just that a growth, possibly a tumor in that you say it feels soft. A trip to a vet with caudate experience is in order if you want an accurate diagnosis. From what is seen in the pictures, it doesn't really appear as impaction.

I kinda figured since impactions would mostly be hard i assume, he did start eating bloodworms again last night , if he does feel sick do i take care of him like an axy with the fridge & salt baths or is there a certain way for tigers?
