Default New to group - found Eastern Tiger Salamander need tips
Hello. New to the group. My husband and I found what appears to be an Eastern Tiger Salamander. I was not familiar with them before but from photos online that's what it looks like to me. I have some questions that I'm sure someone here can help me with:

Is it common or unusual to find in Northern Indiana (almost Michigan line)?

We have him in a 12 gallon tank with soil, water dish (that he loves resting in), and live sedum. Does this sound good?

Wondering how many crickets/grasshoppers and how often
and wondering if eating volume changes at all in the winter.
I'm assuming they don't hibernate when kept indoors.
