Default Tiger salamander setup?

I was curious if i could use my 29 gallon split tank(half water half land) for a pair of tiger sallys? theres a pair on cl and im thinking about getting them if there still available this weekend.. not sure yet.

I'm not sure if a 50/50 split would provide enough land area for them. Something like a 75/25 split would probably be better, as the adults really don't seem to use the water all that much. Mine seem to spend most of their time burrowing through the dirt on the land portion of their tank.

You can just bury a water dish at one end and that should suffice. 29 gallons is large enough to house two tigers.
