do i have to provide a filter for my axies? just wondering. for the moment i change 20% of their water ever 3rd day and a 80% change ever second week, is that enough or will the axies turn sick if i dont provide them with a filter? would apreciate som answers. in addition i use airstones and use declorinators, but as i'm from sweden (hence the bad english Click the image to open in full size.) we have naturally clean tap water. would the declorinator do good or bad then? because we have just a fraction of what other countries seems to have in Cl-contents in the drinking water.

From what I understand, doing an 80% water change would cause the tank to go into cycling mode, although by the sounds of it, your water cannot be cycled! However, I'm not sure if there's enough time for any NO2 and NO3 plus ammonium to build up if you are doing a 20% water change every 3 days...
