Regurgiation of food

i bought a new axy yesterday, and i hand fed him a worm, which it ate, but an hour or so later, he had regurgitated the worm.
i came back a couple of hours later,and the worm was gone so i presume that he had eaten it again. Is this normal??}

my axolotls often do this. I feed them several worms when i offer them, and usually after one or two they take a little break and cough one up once in a while

yeah had this the first time i fed mine a worm and i thought it was choking lol , it probly was just that the worm was to big for your axies stomach.

next time try giving your axie smaller worms or try cutting the worms up thats what i do.
