IS HE DYING!!???

in the last half an hour, FOetus has jumped up to the surface twice and taken pretty big gulps and then dove real quick back down. Does he have enough air?? He's going all crazy like

Mine do that quite often. I guess you have filtration and the necessary?

Have you ever had a corydoras catfish? They do the same thing. I don't think it means that there's anything wrong, my axies do it every once in a while. It's because they have rudimentary lungs I think.

Ours do the same. One in particular seems to enjoy gulping air, floating about burping it and descending slowly to the bottom. I'm not sure that behaviour's quite so healthy, though ;)
