Default London Zoo Axolotls

Does anyone know the history of London Zoos bunch of wild types?
Are they Wildcaught?
I know the biggest they have there is about 14 inches, I will endevour to post piccys later on
I also know they are quite old by going on the scaring and general bumpyness of there skin is this a reliable way to "age" them??

i wouldnt of thought the bumpiness of the skin is a good indicator of age my youngest has the bumpiest skin he isnt fully rown yet scars only show you how much they have been picked on not how ld they are when they pass adult size there is no real way to age them
