Default R.I.P. the little cute one...

i had one of the babies that looked to be the runt of the group. all the others were growing well but this little guy didnt seem to be growing much. Infact he only just had rear stumps where as more the others have either 1/2 or almost fully developed rear legs. Because he was little & cute i decided to keep him & was going to sell most of the others. I came home this afternoon to find his little head just hanging out of "mushrooms" mouth. he is the biggest. he was almost twice the size of tiny. I got him free & his tail & part of his abdomen had been eaten off...im really sad now...

Thats unfortunate but life I guess. They can be very snappy at each other when small, however they can also snap at each other when adult as I am now realising .

well the thing is that they all hatched around the same time (within a week period if i recall), & the big albino seems to be the most agressive come feeding time. He almost looked like a fully developed axie. The little one just didnt grow like the rest. I tried feeding him in a seperate container so he had full access to the food but he just didnt seem to want to grow as quick...so as a result i decided he would be one of the ones i'd keep...
