I wouldn't worry about feeding them as they can go a couple of weeks without food. I would however check they water quality before you go. Have a good trip!

As terrible as it sounds, I leave my axie alone almost every weekend. I am in college but I have a boyfriend back home. So every Friday I feed mine a handful of pellets and head off. She normally seems to do fine without any food. I wouldn't worry at all as long as you haven't had any problems in the past such as escapes, sickness, water quality etc.

I would say if you are really worried, feed them a bit extra fo a couple of days before you go. Dont leave anything in the tank to go off or rot. And as Kira said just check the water quaility is ok before you leave! They will be just fine!

Also, you could get someone to stick their head in mid week to make sure all is ok.. no feeding required!

If the axolotls are very young, they may attack one another if they get hungry. I would put in a tank divider to keep them away from one another for the week just to be on the safe side.
