I live in Owosso MI, We have 1 little axolotl right now. We lost our big one yesterday. It broke my sons heart. He was from a breeder, this one is from our LPS, he seems in good health compaired to some of the others he was housed with. I was just on here looking for other Michiganders who love axies too.

Hi, I live in Southeast Michigan (Allen Park to be exact). I've had interested in axolotls for about a year but finally picked up two at a fish club auction a few weeks back. One wild type, who turned out to be missing an arm (possibly from being in the bag with another slightly larger axolotl)? The slightly larger one is an albino. Both seem to be healthy and are eating well on pellets and bloodworms.

Currently I'm looking for a small (4" or less) leucistic axolotl as well.

Anyone breeding these nearby in Southeast Michigan?
