Hello every one just wanted to announce my baby axolotls have hatching and are doing very well I'm feeding them frozen baby brine shrimp but I also have a back up of fry liquid food i have not tried it yet. They are jumping about and I can see more trying to get out of there eggs it is very exciting I was worried but I'm ok now.

if you can, try rinsed live baby brine shrimp. my babies loved it and grew really fast eating it.

you buy the eggs which can be stored dry for years. They get added to a hatchery (which can be as simple as a 2L soda bottle with salty water and an airstone. The shrimp hatch after about 24 hours and look like tiny orange speckles.
