Default Too skinny?

How often do you guys feed? I feed my Axie once a day, a good sized chunk of frozen bloodworms. He's about a year old. He gets a big belly directly after eating, but skinny by that evening (like my avatar). Is that okay? I look at photos of other Axies and they look plump and nicely rounded, unlike my Chimey. Maybe I should feed more? Maybe it's just because he's young?...

I feed my babies twice a day, my skinny juvie (I rescued a really thin axie from the local pet store, poor little thing) every day and my adults about 3 times a week and some 'snacks' (pellets) now and then.
They are not as round as some axies over here but certainly not skinny.

If you look at your axie from above their bellies should approx. be as wide as his head.

If you feed him dailythen I don't think it's a problem.

Oh mine have this problem too! I feed once a day and they are both about 4 inches long. They are happy and fat when I feed them but by nighttime they are looking for food. Good question :) I would like to know more too.
oh, and I feed a staple of bloodworms and earthworms (although they pick out the bloodworms and leave the earthworms most days) but is krill ok for a treat like once a week? one of mine seemed to love it.
