Default Should I get another axolotl?

So I was wondering if my axolotl would like a friend?
I've noticed that a lot of people on here have two or more guys in a tank together.

Are they social animals? And would like a friend, or is there a chance little dude wouldn't take to having a playmate.

This is my tank and my little dude.
It's a 20 gallon long tank, and I think he's about 5 1/2 or 6 inches long.

I think it kind of depends.. I have two albino boys (oddly enough) who would be lost without each other, they sleep together, move around together and appear to play with each other but on the other hand the other little wild-type guy is a loner in the tank.. and only seems to look for attention from us.

Make sure you get one roughly the same size and just see how it goes.

If you decide to get a second axolotl, you will need to get a bigger tank quite soon. Bare in mind an adult axolotl can reach 30cm in length. Any new addition will also need to be kept separate for a good month, to make sure that there healthy and don't pass anything nasty to each other.
Axolotl will be fine on their own, but I personally prefer to keep more than one.

Also keep in mind that if both axolotls are sexually mature (and opposite sex) and feel like they have good conditions they could spawn little lotls.
