Exclamation Please help! Fungus? Treatment?

I've researched and am pretty sure this is a fungus. My son had purchased 2 Shubunkin fish and put them in the tank with the Axolotls. I'm pretty sure that is where it had come from. I have removed the fish, put an additive in to treat the water along with adding water.

I gave her a salt water bath for 10 minutes yesterday and 2 today.

Am I doing everything I need to do!?! I don't want to lose her!

Here are some additional pictures. I was really hoping to have some responses here as I'm very concerned.

I've added a few more pictures of her healthy a clearer of the patches.

We need more of an explanation of what is going on. If it is due to the feathery part of the gills becoming smaller or are disappearing it is because of the fish. You NEVER EVER want fish in the same tank as an Axolotl,
Reason 1) Axolotls might eat the fish
Reason 2) If the Axolotl doesn't eat the fish, the fish will eat the feathery parts of the gills which will cause pain to the axie, and it is bad.

Thank you for posting here.
So yes their feather gills have always been short! They have never been looking and fluffy like others I've seen. My son used to have guppies in the tank with them all the time but they kept eating them. There are No more fish in the tank with them any more!
I do have some ghost shrimp... Are those ok?

I've continued the salt baths and now am giving them all the baths. I tested the water and found the Nitrate was high. The water is good now and I'm keeping it clear of old food and such. Bacon aka Miss Piggy showed improvement yesterday by eating from the baster like she used to do.

Any more advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why aren't their gills full?
