Default Fungus gone?

I did salt baths on my axie for 4 or so days...
The white puffs are gone, but I just don't know if this is his coloring or if he still has the fungus!

He is eating great and is plenty active!!!
I just want to make sure he is healthy because I want him to be happy and I would be completely devastated if he died!

Well, the picture seems to be of a healthy looking albino ( golden ) axolotl. If previously it had the cotton wool like growths it would be best to continue the salt baths for a few more days. If it has always looked like the photo I would say it was the colouring and not the dreaded fungus.

As far as I can remember, he has always had the white looking sploches on his skin that mix in with the gold color. So other than that everything looks fine to you?
I have been very vigilant on the temp!
Keeping it below 70 degrees F and I should be getting my PH monitor in the mail any day.
I assume it will take a while for his gills to grow back? A few months? Several months? A year?

Possibly a month or 2, you may find they grow back looking slightly different then they were. Colouring and size may be different.

Yep usually different, when i got my Kiro he had a part of his gill missing, over the course of a month or so a fourth stem appeared from out of one of the stems on his right side. looks pretty cool actually
