Default Shrinking gills

Hiya.
I'm still kind of new to all this, so i need some advice please.

My little fella Gizmo seems to be losing his gills. I've noticed they've been getting smaller and smaller over the past week. Also, he doesn't seem to be eating and he mainly hides in his cave or in the corner which is quite unlike him. I usually feed him frozen bloodworm, which he usually seems to enjoy. Gizmos gills were never very big due to him losing them when i first got coz i kept him with fish, due to false information given to me from the aquatics place and my lack of knowledge. They grew back pretty well once i got him his own tank, not as big as before, but i was just happy they grew back as people told me there was a chance they'd never re-grow.

I've got another fella with him called Charlie, who is bigger than him, and i'm worried his are gonna end up the same.

Ive checked all the water levels and they all seem to be fine. Temperature is usually around 20.

Here is some pics of Gizmo,

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll try my best to answer any questions you have as best i can.

Thankyou

Sam.

Hi Sam

You say your water quality is ok, can you tell us the readings please?
Does the temp get higher than 20 degrees?

The best food would be earthworm if you can get hold of some.
Also how big are the axolotls?

Mel

Hi mel, thanks for the reply.

I managed to do a water test this morning, these were the results:
Ammonia - 0
No3 - 25
No2 - 0
GH - 8
KH - 6
PH - 6.8
Cl2 - 0

Temperature does go up to 22 sometimes. I put a ice bottle in when this happens though.
Erm, I tried to measure them this morning which was awkward as they were hiding in the corner and were reluctant to come out.
I'd say Gizmo is about 12cm and Charlie is around 20cm.

It's both the gills and the feather bits. Not sure if u can tell by the photos, but the tips of the gills seem to have gone a bit White. Is this a sign on fungus or something. They're gettin smaller everyday. Just want to try n do something before he loses them completly.

Anyone recommend anything?

Sam.

Do you have an ammonia reading? And how large is the tank, what is the filtration setup, and how often do you clean?

Ammonia is 0.
The tank is about 90litres I think.
I use a Fluval U2 filter which seems to do the job.
I do a 20-30% water change once a week, and clean up any mess they leave whenever I see any.

I woke up this morning to find Gizmo like this (see photo)

Im not 100% sure becuase of the angle, but i think the tip of his nose may be out the water. He's been like it for ages, his gills are still blinking though, so what does this mean?

Also, i fed them some bloodworm again this morning, and once again Gizmo just isnt interested (unlike Charlie that wolfed it down). I'm going to go shop on the weekend to try and get some worms.

He's looking really thin now, and i'm really starting to worry. What do you guys suggest? I don't want to lose him
