Poor water quality will make axolotls change colour, this is particularly noticeable with the lighter morphs like albinos and leucistics who turn pink. Before you start panicking about red leg do some water tests , post your results and the temperature the axolotls are kept at. Also what is your cleaning regime, how often and how much water do you change and is the tank cycled?
