My axie has been floating upside down for the past week He's gone about 6 days without food (no money, no petrol in the car to drive to the shop). I managed to get him some food today, and they didn't have any daphnia in so I had to get some bloodworm and brineshrimp. He's ate 4 Brineshrimp and can't swim back down to get bloodworm, and he's floating on his back still! I can see the gas bubble where his insides end it, and it hasn't burst! It would be a shame for him to die, because he's not even 2 months old yet, and neither are any of his siblings

Maybe put him in a container with just enough water to cover him, and gently help flip him back over onto his feet so he can touch the bottom so it Dosnt stress him out too much? Im not quite sure how to help, But im sure others will come with more advice! -Best of luck!

As Zenna mentioned, you'll need to have him in water shallow enough so that he is able to stay upright. I've read about a few people gently massaging the air bubble out but I personally wouldn't unless you know how to do it properly.

| Member | Axies have very delicate skin, and I don't know how to massage them without damaging their internal organs. He's been eating, and the gas bubble is gone and he's been eating fine. He and his brother/sister are floating upright, but they aren't touching the floor.

Indeed, which is why I wouldn't dare to try it myself (I probably shouldn't have suggested it anyway). If everything else is fine and back to 'normal' then I wouldn't stress! |
