Exclamation Axolotl white spots
My wild type axolotl stumpy has white spots on his belly and I just noticed one on his face. I've only had him a week now and I'll post a photo as soon as possible. I'm not sure if this is natural pigment or a fungal infection.

Obviously without pictures it's hard to make a diagnoses, but I hope you can find some information on axolotl.org - it's my personal "axolotl bible"!

the tank temperature has been noticeably high lately so I have been floating ice bottles in the tank which seems to have reduced it. So i am assuming its fungus, if it gets worse I'll give him/her salt baths.

Yea that would have been my first quest. It's been really warm in my area recently so I'm a nervous wreck! Freezers filled to the brim with ice bottles.

oh dinky you seem to have white leucistics, the young leucistic that I ordered online came very spotty its only 6 cm long. will it turn white?
