Default Will my axolotls gills grow back?
I had a problem with a fungal infection with my axolotls a few months ago, and 2 of them are all healed and doing just fine now, but I did lose one of them unfortunately I think it was because I went on holiday and the person I left in charge of them closed the windows so it got too hot for them.

Anyway, the 2 that are all well now unfortunately lost their gills due to the fungus, and I was wondering if they would grow back as they're looking rather stumpy and bald!

It's been about a month or so and I haven't noticed any regrowth. Has anyone had any experience in this? Thanks!

Yes, they will if given the proper care for sick axolotls as discussed in the forums, the axolotl site and Caudata Culture.
