Hey Rheann i took your idea i sprayed the frames black, i just have to do the brace and it's done ans i can either order or buy a canopy for it Click the image to open in full size.. and im going to use a marble table in the living room that can hold alot.

In the picture i put some water to test if it was water proof, and it is Click the image to open in full size.. Oh while i was puitting in the water it got all soapy should i leave the water in there to let the soap and polish etc evaporate or disaper?

Stipe it looks great!

It is good that it is water proof, but if their is still some soap in it I would try and wash it out as best as possible.

Yes, black is a very becoming color. It matches with everything. I also like traditional wood frames. However, an old tank that I was trying to fix up before I got my new one had wooden frames that were in such bad shape that it just looked awful.

If you can, put a brace going across the top to support the light. You mentioned a canopy? lol I have seen these, but not sure how the light fixture is worked inside. Will it have a support to help keep the lights up?

Your tank looks about the size of my tank, except that yours is wide, and mine is tall lol. Would much prefer mine were wide like yours though Click the image to open in full size..

i'm going to steal your tank. only, to get to where you are, i'd have spent enough money to make 5 of them, so you're just lucky.

you're axolotl is sick? Click the image to open in full size.

Hey Stipe!!! now that's a tank to be proud of!!! I'm a little jealous now!Click the image to open in full size.lol...
my little golden 'stew' seems to be weaker than Bec (she's white and red), she's a bit older and she is so active it wears me out watching, but stew hides in the corner and pops out for a dance and a photo shoot then goes back to the corner?? its only been 2weeks since stew blew up, then passed 32 gravel stones, but he looks happy and healthy now,do you think he would hang out in the corner cause there's something wrong or still recovering, or shy???

My tank is 3ft x 1 and a half ft... I'm not sure how stew would feel about a new tank mate... but Bec would love the company cause stewy doesn't play with her enough, she seems to have endless energy... i think three would be comfy, but in the future do you think four would be squashy in my tank? yes four would be squashy. but you could get away with three in there.

id say stew is just recovering from all that pooping!

Thanks for the replys,

Charlotte, yes she is sick and ive had problems with her since i rescued her from the pet shop, i blame them Click the image to open in full size..

Jasmine, yeh i htink his recovering, mine does the same. My theory is that goldens are the most shy adnwildtypes are the most playfull with whites being the most cheerfull, lol.
