Hello! This spring we were lucky to get two new wonderful creatures into our family. Risto and Haba were both brown-green axolotls. A few weeks ago Haba died. We have no idea why. There were no marks on him, he ate and looked just the way he always has looked like. Well yesterday I brought a new familymember home. This white one is probably a male, but we'll call him Liisa (which is a girls name). Well, first I thought he was albino but that can't be possible. He has blue eyes. He has also a liiittle bit gray colour in front of the gills. The gills are red and he is white everywhere else. So, is the a name for this colour (a white blue-eyed?  ), do people have axolotls of this colour.Here is a pic of her head  |
