*** No axolotls were harmed in the production of this photograph***

I've been taking so many photos of my lovely golden babies recently. I took this one posing and couldn't help thinking what he'd actually look like behind a piano! He (or she) is so fun to watch so I'm sure he (or she) won't mind this photo adaption. Click the image to open in full size.

Sarah - you are joking, aren't you? Was it forcibly removed or did you request it?

Ryan - Some people think keeping axolotls is a waste of time. "Why do you have them?" is a frequently asked question...

Different strokes for different folks.

Ryan – if I think something is a waste of time I generally don’t pass comment on it. After all, why waste your time on a “waste of time”? Doesn’t that make it worthy of your time? Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion but please avoid making negative comments about something which is clearly intended as fun – it takes the fun out of it, causes an argument and we end up having to remove the thread. Thanks.

Ryan, if you didn't enjoy it, there's no need to insult it. The old adage is "if you can't say anything nice..."

You may not have enjoyed it, but others did. What you consider a waste of time may be enjoyable to others.

That is cute and at the same time hilarious! Love it!
Sarah it is a shame you had yours removed. It was very obvious it was touched up on your husband's computer and it was funny also.
It is as plain as day that these Axies are not being harmed.

Ryan, I was just saying that some people think keeping axies is a waste of time, including some friends here who have asked me: "Why do you have them? They do nothing...". You see, everything is so subjective and people enjoy doing artwork on the computer and this, to them, is not a waste of time. In fact, I'd say it helps them to maybe relax, enjoy their axies more by anthropomorphising them, sharing with people who may enjoy seeing pictures like that, therefore brightening up their day etc. The list can go on, ergo it cannot be a waste of time. Not for them anyway! Can you see what I mean, Ryan?

I never said I didn't enjoy it, its clever and in my origanal post I wrote hehe. If this is what you guys enjoy doing things like that thats great. Lastly I don't enjoy being called a party pooper, if you didn't like what I said than ignore it, form now on I will refrain from commenting on pictures like these. I hope this clears thing up on my name.

Ryan, just try to keep things lighthearted and positive. No one likes to hear that what they're doing is a waste of time. I'm sure you wouldn't either. I'm sure there are no hard feelings.
