(Note we realised very quickly they didn't like the light very much and don't have it on any more.)

We're cycling with the axies in the tank, so far careful mopping up of waste and daily water changes seems to be keeping them within safe parameters, and we'll be keeping a close eye on the nitrite/ammonia levels.

The only concern we have is Geoff seems to have one gammy arm which looks a little deformed and he barely moves when walking/swimming. I'm hoping it gets better - he seems happy enough (feeding OK and doesn't seem stressed) but he sometimes seems a bit clumsy, like he's not going in quite the direction he wants to

Apart from that, hopefully they're happy in their new home!

I put the white light on in my tank in the day time and the blue light in the evening. When I don't have the light on my little guys quite often sit at the bright end of the tank. And they can see a lot better than some people say, mine see the turkey baster through the tank before it even get to lift it up and into the tank they swim to the corner I feed them. They quite often swim into my hand when its in the tank moving something, they are quite social little critters.
