Yes, he's only about 3" total length. Chases my finger when he's hungry, though. I might get him to hand-feed sometime.

Aww! My axolotl (Timmy) looks just like yours! The only difference is that Timmy has a (cough) deformity. He only has two digits on one of his front hands. I just imagine he's giving me giving me the peace sign.

awww cute! yours is not much smaller than my little guy (3.5-4 inches).

@Bob94, thats a great way to look at it :) Depending on age, the fingers might grow back? My axolotl has 5 toes on his/her left foot, 4 gills on the left side, and although has 3 gills on the right, the bottom two are fused together at the tips, making a triangular shape. I'm thinking about renaming him/her Star :) I love that he/she is unique! (and obviously got chomped on a LOT as a little one).

I have the same bow front tank. Very cute little Axolotl. I see the little stones though as a potential issue. I would go with sand or bare bottom. Would hate for the little guy or gal to eat any of those stones. Just my opinion though.

Very nice Axolotl and some great pics, Love the pic of his/her tail, you got a shot of the gold flecks :) He/she looks about the same size as ours, again a Golden Albino :)
As Dr0gr1n said the stones can be an issue and possibly make him/her get constipated, ouch!
