Default Hypselotriton orientalis juveniles available in Utah Only

I have 4 groups of 5 juvenile H. orientalis available. They are the offspring of my own animals from the 2016 spring breeding. Their colors are rather lack luster so I am only asking $20 per group.

They are feeding on dusted flightless FF, isopods, white worms, and spring tails. They have not yet started to hand feed for me, so they are still fairly small but have nice round bellies and good appetites. I have been keeping them in plastic shoe boxes on unbleached, damp paper towels with oak and maple leaves to hide under.

Orientalis are not the easiest to raise owing to a possible prolonged terrestrial phase, so please be sure you have access to appropriate food and please do research before you contact me! Good places to get started are here: Caudata Culture Articles - Raising Juvenile Newts, and also here: http://www.caudata.org/forum/f1173-a...roduction.html and here: http://www.caudata.org/forum/f1173-a...new-way-p.html but please keep in mind that these juveniles have been terrestrial for several months now so I don't know how well pushing them back into water will work at this point.

Please send me a PM so we can coordinate local pick up or in-state shipping.

Thank you!

HJ
