Re: Moss Varieties

Is this captive grown or are you taking this from the wild?

Re: Moss Varieties

These mosses start of as chunks I take from the wild. I then thoroughly clean it the best I can and then i transplant it into my moss garden where my moss has been spreading and filling in for the past year. As I take moss out I get new moss to take its place.

Do you know what the varieties are that you have? Do you still have any available?
Cheers!

Re: Moss Varieties

Thank you for sustainably growing these yourself and not harvesting wild mosses in bulk. Mosses like that Sphagnum (the first one) could be an uncommon or threatened species.
