With regard to sexing, I could do my best to pick out what I believe are females, based on tail size... but they have yet to reach sexual maturity and so I couldn't guarantee sex.

With regard to going aquatic, they could be conditioned to go aquatic upon arrival.

I bought 5 from Jeff about 4 months ago and they transitioned very easily to an aquatic set up. Only took about 3 weeks before they were totally comfortable in 4+" of water. The biggest of the group is about 3.5" now.
