Yea, lol axolotl genetics confuse me, but I believe that wildtype is a dominate gene so it is likely to come out if any of the parents have that gene. Someone feel free to correct me. I had babies from 2 melanoid parents and they produced some leucistics, so lol I have no idea how this works.

Agreed. Axolotl genetics are very confusing. Our axies all have the same father who is leucistic, yet it appears our leucistic/wildtype eggs are half leucistic and half wildtype and our leucistic/golden eggs are golden and wildtype? I'll be curious if anyone gets a leucistic out of that round!

We have more eggs!! Laid tonight (2/6/12). These eggs are leucistic (father) and wildtype (mother). We are selling them for a flat price of $15 for priority shipping and tracking (shipping has gone up this year and we realized that it is actually a lot of work to package all the little guys and keep track of who wants what).

If you are interested in wildtype/leucisitic eggs, please email me at zaria917@yahoo.com or send me a message via caudata and let me know where you're from (state) and how many eggs you are interested in.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the emails/messages. We will be in touch if we haven't been already. Need to pull out the eggs and see how many we have and I want to give dibs to the people who contacted us last round but that didn't get any.

Hi All,
It appears that one of my larger orders has cancelled, so I still have eggs. I have a couple of people with smaller orders that I still plan to fulfill (between 10 and 30). Is anyone interested in the rest of them for $15 (shipping+ handling+eggs)? Would love to send the final batch out this week. First person to paypal giff1023@gmail.com the $15 gets them! I *think* there should be 50-100 eggs, but I can confirm tonight.

Thanks!

Leana

Just counted. We have 65-70 eggs left that are developing axolotls.

Thanks!

I definately want some...but I don't know how many you would be willing to send as a minimum. Let me know and how much shipping would be for a minimum order to 63857. I might could take around 5-10 of them...at most.

Hi Everyone,

Eggs have all been taken. Sorry for those of you who missed out. I will be sure to post if our axolotls lay more eggs this winter.

Thanks! Leana

Ordered thirty eggs, 18 developed completely. Half have hatched, giving me a count of (from what I can see) 8 leucistics and 10 wild types. Cute, happy, healthy. Thanks!

Mine turned out great too! I ordered 9 eggs, one didn't make it but the rest seem to be happy and healthy :) Looks like 5 leucistics and 3 wild types
Thank you so much!
