These first two where found in the cellar of the farmhouse that I just moved out of. I've had them since early early/ Late July, respectively.

The Blue Spotted was nearly completely desiccated. I thought for sure it was dead, but it moved almost imperceptively when I picked it up. It's in much better shape now and pounds down small crickets.

I found the spotted salamander trapped in the same spot, but in slightly better shape. It seems to be healthy now, and is eating well, but still quite shy.

Lastly I have some what are, I'm 95% sure, A. laterale larvae. I accidently brought these home while collecting amphipods from a small spring. I typically quickly scoop up large bunches of moneywort from water just a couple inches deep, placing it on 1/4" mesh over large short rubber maid containers. Then I go fish or whatever for 15 minutes to an hour and replace the plants. When I was sorting out the undesirables at home (dragon fly larvae, leave cutters, etc), I was suprised to find these guys. Needless to say I double check the bins now before heading out.

Anyways, now they are housed in a 10 gallon planted tank, mowwing down frozen mysis shrimp and bloodworms(both vitamin supplemented), as well as amphipods that they manage to catch.

As stated in the title, these are all free to a good home, hopefully someone who specializes in terrestrial/mole salamanders. I would just kindly ask that you cover the shipping charges. Alternatively, I would be open to trading for 1-2 specimens of North American or European aquatic newts. Lastly, I've never shipped larvae before, any tips would be appreciated.

The animal in the second pic is A. tigrinum, not A. maculatum.
