Default Canadian Roll..

Call!

If you breed newts, whether regularly or just have some available from a spontaneous breeding, post your species/availability here. It has been difficult to find species and connect with other breeders as the hobby isn't quite as developed as it is elsewhere. Even if you don't breed and could post the species you keep here that would be helpful for other keepers who might have the same species and are trying to complete a breeding group.

I will start us off:

Tylototriton Yangi
Triturus Carnifex
Triturus Marmoratus
Triturus Dobrogicus
Cynops Orientalis
Cynops pyrrhogaster
P. Chinensis
P. Hongkongensis
I.Alpestris Apuana
I.Alpestris Inexpectatus
P. Waltl

I couldnt agree more. You have some great species I have been in search of in the past but have come up empty handed here in Canada. Im located just North of Toronto myself and care for a Triturus Marmoratus.

Weird I swear I replied to this the other day, anyways I agree it hasnt been particularly easy to find people keeping these amazing creatures in Canada at the moment. You have a great collection, alot of animals I have looked into in the past. Im located just north of Toronto and currently have a single Triturus Marmoratus. Definitely want to get more salamanders and newts in the near future.
