Question about frogs shedding and eating skin

Hi all,

I have seen a few videos in which people say their frogs is eating its skin. I watch it but hardly can see skin being shed in the first place -- and can very hardly skin being eaten.

Can someones explain this?

Here is an example.

Re: Question about frogs shedding and eating skin

They pull the old skin from back to front, towards the mouth, and swallow it. It just slides over the new skin.
The layer of skin being shed is transparent, which is why you can't easily see it.
