My question is whats the chance of getting them period, never mind CB? I have not seen these toads in years.

There is at least one member of caudata from the uk who keeps these, i wont name directly, but he does breed and donate N. kaiseri, if that helps.

A shipment was supposed to come into the u.s. last year along with some Leptodactylus laticeps but unfortunately they never materialized. I am also hot on the trail of obtaining these.I will bring them in from Europe personally if I have to.Legally of course.

There was an importation into the UK in 2004 but none since then AFAIK. I no longer keep them and I suspect all the originals are probably dead.

I broke down and got a group of 15. This years imports seem to look like a mixed bag of juveniles and adults, mostly juvies so I suspect it will be sometime before CB start showing up regularly.

I have a wild group Melanophryniscus montevidensis 3.3 from two years ago.
They are very easy to care dislike humidity, eat a lot during the morning should be well ventilated. Withstand temperatures from 0 to 35 º C. Drown in 5cm of water ...
Once I got a spawning but the tadpoles were killed by mistake.
