    Hi there,
I haven't been on Caudata.org in years, but I'm looking for a female T. Alpestris apuanas to mate with a male I've had as a single for a long time. I noticed that a few years ago you had some alpines - do you still? Do they ever breed for you? Or know anyone who might?

    Thanks!

Does your Paramesotriton have any small yellow speckles on his/her legs? Other forum members have suggested that only Chinensis exhibit these spots - which mine has, although they don't show up well in photos. Mind you, Paramesotriton species seem to be particularly difficult to I.D., so I can't really say with certainty one way or another

Do you keep any Warty Newts in Toronto?

    Hi there!

I saw your comment on a juvenile Cynops orientalis thread, and you said that you kept your juvenile at 1.5 inches long in a aquatic setup! I was absolutely shocked. First off, are you definitely sure of this? My little guy is 1.8 inches long, or 4.8 cm. He seems to crawl around in the water SOMETIMES, but mostly just sits on land.

Please reply quickly as I'm bloody excited to move them to an aquatic tank

    Cheers!
    Zac
