Hello again :) The tank wasnt what i wanted so im gonna have to get it new, bless my mum and auntie paying all that money for me i feel really bad! Its not for my axolotls either I have massive goldfish and carp and they are all getting way too big for their tank and my garden isnt too big so a pond would be possible but not big enough to keep upsizing it. And I know they are a pain, but its worth the wait to see all that crystal clear water! Im going to have problems moving my fish over with cycling so im running the old filter and new at the same time and no feed for a few days when i get the tank on friday so nitrite and ammonia doesnt go out of control xx Good luck with the axolotls :) x

Hey well its best not to feed anything from the wild, but earthworms if you are sure they haven't come in contact with any nasties should be fine, but id be very careful still :) make sure your neighbours don't use anything in their gardens and also check your local bait shop or pet shop for prices of earthworms, if you can find a good deal/price then it would be advised to go with that, but if your sure, and your kids have fun digging up the worms then they should be ok :)
But don't go with anything else from the wild, as most other things are almost always going to have nasties.
