Hello, I really need help from someone, I'm very worried. I've had a two tiger salamanders for almost two years now. One of them I have noticed has gotten what I think is bloated, and would not eat (usually he eats like a pig) I have left him alone for about four days, and he looks even more bloated. I don't know if he is constipated or what… His movements are somewhat robotic, he is usually very active and I have noticed him just slouching over the water bowl, not being very active, and when he does walk he appears to have a hard time. He is being very lethargic. He is walking as if he can barely carry his own weight. Is this constipation, or something else? What should I do to fix this? Usually I feed him red worms, or crickets. I did recently change his substrate from one time of co-co fiber to another rainforest type because the pet store didn't carry it anymore, I found the closest one I could to the previous. Any ideas? I would very much appreciate it.

    Hi Jan,

Thanks very much! Had a very good time - actually visited San Francisco for the weekend, including Monterey Bay Aquarium.

    Cheers,

    Bruce.
