Hey Michael. Wanted to let you know the axie came in today. Even though it wasn't supposed to be delivered til tomorrow the post office was awesome and called me so I could pick it up. Arrived alive and well and is a beautiful little guy or girl! I'm acclimating him/her as I'm typing this. Can't get over the fluffy gills!. My daughter has yet to see it but I know she'll love it. Thanks again!

    Hello Michael,

I am new to the whole axolotl scene and I am looking to purchase 2-3 of the cute little guys! I live in PA, but I am having a LOT of trouble finding a pet store or breeder around here. You seem to be very active and knowledgeable... any help? :]

Hi Michael, I'm looking to buy a small sized bag of Rangen salmon pellets to try with my axolotls. Do you know how/where I can get just enough to try them out? Or do I have to order a huge supply? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

I did notice that the pellets that are available at the Ambystoma Genetic Stock Center are not controlled for thyroxine.....is that the case with all pellets??? (Are the pellets they use the Rangen pellets? I couldn't find anything that stated details about these pellets!)

    Thank you!

Hey Michael, you still selling Isopods? Email me at jharv67@sbcglobal.net if you would. I'm on your mailing list. I turned on my space heater for the winter and dried up all Indiana natives. I'd like to get some big dwarf white and canyon cultures going. Thanks, jarrod

I feed the hatchlings baby brine shrimp, daphnia, and or chopped blackworms. I don't know of any pellet or frozen food they will start out on.

    Hi Michael

My daughter and I bought a pair of axolotls from you at the June reptile show near Valley Forge. We just got eggs, and I've read up on feeding the babies, but was wondering if you have been able to get the hatchlings to feed on any type of pellet or solid food?

    Thanks for your time!

    Bob
