    I acquired two hets and one leuc but at the time they were basically unsexable. One of the hets is underdeveloped and will not be ready this year. The other het and the leuc are both males... I bred the leuc and my big normal female and only produced a few good eggs. I am raising one which is now pretty good size. Definitely normal though..

    Man egg laying season is in full swing here! All of my aquatic newts (except the paddletails) are laying eggs.....including my T. granulosa.

    Hmm yes I am rethinking a few actually. Some are getting bigger while some stay small. Some like it warm and some like it cold and some don't like being in fishy water :P Thanks for the welcome.

    hi would you possiably know if people are allowed to keep salamanders or newts in new zealand?
