    thanks for the complament wow you're oscars are big! i've seen a couple at my friends house he had 5 in a above ground swimming pool that was 3 feet tall and 6 feet in diameter (3feet to one yard) he kept it in his basement and used water bet heaters under the pool liner to heat it with 3 canister filters the oscars were so full of life it was crazy all playing withe each other he even had 2 fully grown tiger shovel nose cats it was a pretty cool set up

    here in the states a leader in discus care MR. jack whitley i think that's his name he breeds discus in well USA h2o all i have to do is add water conditioner which takes out the celorine and discus code from kent marine i think but neways all i did was take my h2o to my lfs (local fish store) that took perimeters and set me up on my own measurements for the discus code In which my tanks have flushed that's all by sides weekly water changes and evaporation fill ups but yea that's pretty much it its actually is easier than you think it was for me

    Thanks 20s4sds, I thought i knew enough but after reading through this site I realise there is more to it than I have been doing so feel a little guilty that I wasn't doing the right thing with her so to speak. I hope the few changes I've made in my management will see her to old age.

    Hello.Thanks for stopping by,feel free to check out the photo albums.I have been fishing keeping for 2 years now,started with gold fish ,then went onto red claw crayfish had them breeding.(and climbing out of their tanks at night.Found one at the back door).We got two 4ft tanks with our two Oscar cichlids ( one about 25cm, one 28cm).We just got our first Axolotl he is about 15cm.Eating,walking and ahhmmm going to the toilet well.All good so far reading heaps here.

    Fish keeping(2 Oscar Cichlids,4 silver dollars)Though just got another Silver Dollar Fish so thats 5 sds.Messed up my username :)

    Everything all good.I have been keep his water temp at 18C and we have had no health problems.I"ve started feeding him at night,he's seems more active then...:).......I'm going to do something about updating his tank,just been looking at the gallery.I'm going to make his tank beautiful!!!!!
