Hi. I saw your tank for the D. tenebrosus. It looks good. Would it work for P. ruber? Thanks

It's pretty straight forward. I keep mine in plastic shoe boxes on medium sized landscaping bark. I use clay pot-bottoms and slabs of bark as cover. Vents are made by punching holes along the upper edge with a soldering iron. I mainly feed them 1/2in cricket, dusted onedc a month with a supplement. Most all will attach their eggs to the bottom of the pot bottoms from mid April to June. I let the female tend them for ~50 days, then I remove the entire pot botton to a seperate smaller container for the final couple of weeks of incubation. Once they hatch the reall work begins!!
