The floor is an under gravel filter I painted gray with krylon fusion paint. The side walls are an old plastic milk crate I cut up with an old hand saw and painted to match the floor. Behind those I put an old printer paper tray for a door, painted darker. The rear wall is an old plastic storage bin lid (hard plastic bin, try home depot). Mother Brain is a glob of great stuff expanding foam with a submersible green led inside for her eyes. The base for M.B. is the stand for an old CRT monitor (the box ones, not flat screen). I used a sponge filter with custom risers for the brain tubes (no pics yet but maybe you remember them). I just did a bunch of work on the tank and plan to do more this weekend. Once of my axolotls just decided to hurt herself though, so my tank funds may be converted to vet funds. either way I should have it finished soon and will upload more pics.
