Fire Belly Newts Eating Planaria and Leeches?

Can my newts eat those? Should they be eating those?
 
they could be parasitic so probably be careful with them. I mean I wouldn't feed it to them
 
Seen some in my tank every now and then but my newts seemed to be unaffected. 6 months later none of them have passed at all, I think they may have eaten them and survived.

I saw in their natural habitats they eat these insects/critters.
 
Most leeches only feed on small animals, not newts, but I don't know what species you're talking about.
Planaria (several species too) are rarely eaten because many of them contains toxins. Some of them can eat amphibian eggs
 
Unfortunately I don't know what species of Planaria it may be, just very small and usually found in aquarium tanks.
 
Adult Fire-Bellied Adults enjoys brine shrimp, bloodworms, and black worms on a regular basis not sure about planaria though
