My female leucistic laid eggs for several hours,
However I only kept 50 to hatch and sell. My two males are melanoid and golden, and as far as I know they're all from the same family as I got them all at the same age from the same woman. They're only a year old.
Mama got a extra worms in the last few days.

I'm rambling. The eggs started out dark brown with white on one side.
I'm just wondering what color usually comes from eggs like that. I'll attach pictures

Egg colour does not indicate larva colour - you could get anything from any colour egg.
Chances are with those possibilities for parents you'll get a lot of wildtypes with possibly a few of something else.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
