My grey girl Natsu was feeling photogenic today :) She is now a year old ... I adopted her a year ago yesterday so she is actually about 14 months.

more like begging for food LOL You would never guess yesterday she was constipated and I almost had to fridge her.
 
Thank you :) She is my little girl <3 well not so little ... she is 9 inches.
 
Her gills are such a beautiful color! She looks like a gray wild type, right? What color would you say her gills are? (I've noticed sometimes gill colors vary, even amongst the same body color morphs.)
 
She is a grey melanoid, her gills are an odd mix of pink and dark grey.
 
Awe, she looks so sweet! She's grown up beautifully.

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
