Hello I am ronin frog ,
I didn't relieze how many years it's been. I saved 4mudpuppies from the bait tank at the turners outdoorsman here in town.,they were the last 4.and being a bullfrom guy, couldn't let them go out like that.
I have an out door pound the is actually A reinforced dog run no chance of escape
Well they no longer sell "mud puppies in California.
They have been named after saltwater game fish.?
There's mako &marlen.calimarii and blue fin.
They get along with turtle and large rana castebene ? they chow down gold fish and what ever the bug zapper over the pond brings down
I really enjoy the members photos and often daydream about adding some new friends in the garden pond but like I said it's been more years than I relized since my last addition and 650gallons of pond might be why they all get along
Thanxz again for letting me register as a member
Ronin frog?

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
