Considering getting a copper, and I've seen many young ones with coloring that I just love....but when it comes to adults most of the ones i've seen are wildly different from the babies. I want one that's REALLY super orange, and I realize that they sometimes change color as they grow so I cant judge what it'll look like as an adult by looking at it as a juvie, but I haven't seen any adult coppers that are really really orange.

Also, show me what some lavenders/purples look like? Haven't seen many of them :)

This is my juvenile-ish copper bunny! He only has one eye.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
