Travelled on the train to Edinburgh to pick up Pob. Car would have been difficult to park. Plastic tub inside lunch cooler on top of one towel with another packed around. Oh the excitement. Pob received and packed we headed off down the road little did everyone know that inside our innocuous m an s bag was a living breathing creature. Pob came with us for lunch at the museum then back on the train. He's currently wandering about the tank and has eaten a few blood worms. I'm hoping this is a good sign! Name courtesy of number 2 daughter.

Pob likes balancing! Not upside down though. Seemed to save like that. Hehe.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
